These museums are home to the UK’s national collection of arms and armour which includes over 8,500 articles collected and displayed in five galleries. Entry into the museum is FREE so enjoy a great day out with the family only a short walk from the hotel along the canal.
Take the kids to see jousting or play in the 'Jester Yard' where they can dress up, learn to juggle and even make their own swords. There are interactive exhibits throughout the museum including handling a 15th Century Civil War musket, demonstrations from West Yorkshire Police dogs and a cross bow shooting range.
